Colliers Kirinda Trust

The Colliers Kirinda Trust was developed as an initiative to assist tsunami victims, using the skills and expertise available within the organization and supported by Colliers' culture of commitment to the world community. Colliers focused on the island of Sri Lanka, and has undertaken the rebuilding of homes and community for a village on the Southeastern coast. The initiative was begun by Philip Bay, the Regional Director of Colliers Southeast Europe, but its foundation is Colliers International, and the over 9000 individuals in its ranks.

Colliers' worldwide goal is to raise USD 1,000,000 to build 50 homes in Kirinda Village, which was completely destroyed by the tsunami. By February 2007 a total of USD 620,000 has been collected.
